About Do It The Wright Way
Do It The Wright Way License to Carry Handgun Training, a family owned and operated service, has been serving the Hill Country and Central Texas area and its surrounding communities since 2003. It was started by the late Eddie Wright and the tradition is carried on through his family and close friends.
Dawna Larson is a state certified LTC Instructor and NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. She has been teaching with her family as part of the Do It The Wright Way team since 2003. Dawna has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1985. She also enjoys various outdoor activities which includes hunting and fishing.
We are dedicated to the teaching the laws and qualification of our students in obtaining their Texas License to Carry. Our staff’s vast experience in law enforcement and the handgun carry law make us the right place to meet the state requirements for your permit.
The late Dawn Wright was a Judge for Bandera County, having served in that capacity since 1995. She retired from Kerr County as Justice of the Peace in December, 2010. Prior to that she served for 9 years as a police officer for the City of Castle Hills and the Shavano Park Police Departments as well as the Bexar County Sherriff's Office. In addition, she was a state certified LTC Classroom Instructor.
