In Memory of Judge Dawn Wright
Judge Priscilla Dawn Wright, co-owner of Do It The Wright Way, was born on January 28, 1941 in Big Foot, Texas. She was born to Jimmie Harris and George B. Moore. She graduated from Divine High School in 1957. Dawn always had a deep love for the law. Her devotion was evidenced throughout her career in law enforcement. Dawn was a police officer for Shavano Park and Castle Hills. Through the majority of Dawn's career she served as Justice of the Peace for Kerr County Precinct 2. After a brief retirement, Dawn realized she missed her work and returned to the bench as Municipal Judge for the City of Bandera.
Judge Wright had many hobbies which included traveling and fishing. One of Dawn's passions was being co-owner of Do It The Wright Way concealed handgun licensing training.
Do It The Wright Way was originally started by the late Eddie Wright. For quite some time Eddie had envisioned starting a concealed handgun training and licensing school. In sharing this passion with Eddie, Dawn was the one who gave Eddie the nudge to make his vision a reality, and thus; Do It The Wright Way was born. It was with great pride and mutual respect for the law that Eddie and Dawn made their dream come to fruition. After the passing of Eddie Wright, Dawn and her daughters Dawna Larson and Pam Frost continued to keep Eddies dream alive.
Judge Wright passed on January 17, 2014. Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchild, her love of the law and her love of Do It The Wright Way.
